On November 3-4, 2016, in Almaty at the Kazakh National Agrarian University International Seminar ‘Corporate Governance in Higher Education Institutions of Kazakhstan: Principles, Forms and Prospects’ is organised by the National Erasmus+ Office (NEO) in Kazakhstan jointly with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the financial support of the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency of the European Commission (EACEA), Brussels, Belgium.

Objective:
- Familiarise with the EU experience in implementing corporate governance in HEIs and enhance knowledge and skills in the field of corporate governance;
- Development of recommendations on the implementation of corporate governance principles in universities of Kazakhstan.
- Participants are familiar with the EU experience in the field of corporate governance
- Recommendations on the implementation of corporate governance principles in universities of Kazakhstan on the basis of a comparative analysis of the experience in the field of corporate governance in universities of Kazakhstan and the EU are developed.
