Dear graduates, colleagues, friends!
Over the years, you studied at one of the oldest agricultural universities in our country - the Kazakh National Agrarian University, which in 2020 will celebrate its 90th anniversary.
The university was established in 1996 on the basis of two universities of the country - Almaty Zoo-Veterinary and Kazakh Agricultural Institutes. In 2001, by the Decree of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.Nazarbayev, the university was granted a special status - a national university. Since then, the university has begun to transform into a national research university.
Today, the university is the leader of agrarian education and science; it trains practical-oriented, creative-minded specialists who are able to introduce innovative technologies in production.
For high-quality training of specialists at the university, a developed scientific and educational infrastructure and a strong personnel potential have been created. In 2015, the Agrotechnological hub was opened, which is engaged in the search and transfer of innovative technologies and new knowledge. It includes all the innovation centers and laboratories of the university.
Currently, the university is being transformed into a world-class university. To this end, the best practices of leading universities of the world are being consolidated and introduced, based on the transfer of new knowledge and technologies.

For you, he remains home, even many years after graduation. Every year hundreds of graduates from all over Kazakhstan, from countries of the near and far abroad, attend anniversary meetings of graduates to the Alma Mater. Classmates remember the happy years of study, are interested in the fate of friends. After such meetings, alumni business contacts are often activated. These meetings give a huge charge of joy, energy, youth, which is so lacking for people in everyday life!
For KazNAU, the fate of its graduates is not indifferent. The Alumni Association of KazNAU, established in 2009, assists in the training of specialists of the new formation and the establishment of mutually beneficial relations between the university and its graduates.
The mission of the Association is to strengthen the corporate spirit of all generations, union and social advancement of graduates, their self-realization.
The main objectives of the Association:
- image support, updating the database with information about career growth of graduates;
- organization of patronage and support for socially vulnerable students;
- development of new innovative educational programs and projects;
- attracting graduates to conduct master classes, lectures, exchange of experience with students and teachers of the university;
- organization of interaction with employers in the framework of graduates' employment, adaptation of the educational process to the requirements of the labor market.
