Competitions and Festivals
The main purpose of Tempus SSDS is creation of advanced and updated services for Georgian, Kazakh, Kyrgyz, Azerbaijani and Italian students and graduated students, based on specially developed European experience methods and tools, which meets globalized world requirements and develops a quality culture among the students and co-workers. The SSDS project team from KazNAU participated in the national seminar "National Qualifications Framework, from the methodology of architecture to the practical application" June 8-9, 2015 in Astana, organized by the Ministry of Education and Science in collaboration with the National Office of Erasmus + in Kazakhstan. SSDS project team presented a video-clip about the project, booklets, publications, presentation materials. As part of the workshop/master-class "Development and implementation of human resource strategy of the university: modern approaches, milestones and methods", where the moderator was A. Nurmaganbetov, Director of the Bologna process and academic mobility Center, Nugmanova M.S., Head of the Department of international educational programs KazNAU, made a presentation about SSDS project. The project has generated great interest among the participants of the master class.
April 30 – May 2, 2014. The third SSDS TEMPUS Project Meeting was held at Beer Sheva (Israel). Objectives of the meeting, in addition to updating the state of the project, were the analysis of the different work packages, discussion of various problems encountered and joint decisions related to the resolution of the same problems. You can find all the presentations from the meeting here (http://tempus-ssds.eu/ssds_moodle/ ) In the framework of SSDS TEMPUS project, Kazakhstan’s Local workshop was conducted on February 24-25, 2014. Kazakhstan’s Local workshop was hosted by KSU. Experts from Tallinn State University took part at this workshop and gave presentations on the student support services in TSU. Partner Universities’ staff presented SSDS project development information in their Universities and identified further prospects.
On October 21, 2013 at the Kazakh National Agrarian University the monitoring of the project SSDS took place. Rakhilya Nurbaeva, Monitor, EU and Central Asia ROM Programme conducted monitoring.
The second Project Meeting of SSDS was held at Baku (Azerbaijan) from October 29 to 30 - 2013, as desided after the three workshops organized in England, Romania and Estonia. At this event, including the coordinators of the project «SSDS» from the University of L'Aquila, Italy, representatives of 22 partner universities took part. On behalf of our university Head of the analysis of international educational programs M.S.Nugmanova and head of the department of youth policy O.Serikuly have attended this meeting. Also from Kazakhstan there have been representatives of the University of the West Kazakhstan after Zhangir Khan and Kustanai universities.
Objectives of the meeting: updating the state of the project the analysis of the different work packages, and discussion of various problems, encountered and joint decisions related to the resolution of the same problems.

“The general aim of SSDS project is to establish in Higher Education Institutions from GE/KZ/KG/AZ/IL advanced and up-dated services to students and alumni, based on specially designed methodologies and tools according to the best European practices, able to meet the needs of a globalised world and to develop a quality assurance culture among students and staff” (http://tempus-ssds.eu/ssds_moodle/ ).
In the framework of TEMPUS SSDS project, London Workshop held in London on the topic of “Student Support and Development Services” at Middlesex University from 9th of September to Friday 13th of September.
The aim of the Workshop was to re-train a pilot group of staff members of Higher Education Institutions in EU for competence, knowledge, skills and competence enhancement in planning and administering student orientation, student academic support, alumni affairs, and student life issues.
From 10 to 12 December 2012 at the University of L’Aquila (Italy) the first kick-off meeting of the Tempus project “Student Support and Development Services” was held. The project aims to establish in target Higher Education Institutions from Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Israel advanced and updated services to students and alumni according to the best European practices, able to meet the challenges of a globalised world
West-Kazakhstan Zhangir Khan Agrarian Technical University, Kostanay Baitursynov State University and Students Alliance of Kazakhstan are involved in the project from the Republic of Kazakhstan. Kazakh National Agrarian University serves as the national coordinator of the project.
